The fastest mammal in North America. The pronghorn is all too often mistakenly considered to be an antelope. Besides their blazing speed, these animals have tremendous curiosity and we have often sat motionless, in an open area, holding a cloth or scarf. It takes a little while, but eventually the wander nearby to check you out.
