What a phenomenal year! What a whirlwind year! Trips galore! Visit to Mexico with great friends, Vince and Sharon Miller. Quick stop at home and off to China with Linda Bittner and friends. Another quick refresh and down to Texas for TexArt with all my dear SKB friends and after yet another turnaround back to Texas to teach the wonderful students at Schreiner University. Bill surprised me with a photo trip to a wild horse ranch in South Dakota. Had another wonderful time at SKB this year where I was honored beyond belief to receive the Susan Kathleen Black Foundation Rose Award. Our last trip was to Jackson Hole, the Tetons and Yellowstone with two more dear friends, John Withers and Karen Zap.
Finished a number of commissions as well; a life-sized Black Bear now living in Estes Park, a life sized Caribou in Hawaii, a life sized Mountain Lion and cubs going to Utah, a Nurse’s Cap Bronze going to Connecticut. Currently I am working on a life and a quarter sized Elk with two calves for the City of Golden and a life-sized Mule Deer Buck who will reside in Aspen. Whew!
We are all healthy and grateful for all we have, especially family, friends and patrons (who are also dear friends.)
